100 degrees North Bar Beach, Empire, Michigan...Full Moon, August 1989...This is where Robert Jr. & Sugar Mae got married with Johnnie Bassett with many family and friends...It is also the best swimming hole in the lower 48 states...All our CD Samplers are celebrations and here are two of my favorite things—full moon and a perfect beach...The North Bar area is also the home of Sugar Mae’s Blues Camp that is celebrated every September 11th...A little bit of paradise with a great CD Sampler full of music that will shake your booty!...We are sharing with you songs from all over the country again!...
From New York, New, Orleans, Mississippi, Arizona, Israel, Wisconsin, Florida, Maryland, Chicago and the Motor City, we are sharing with you some of the songs that have got our attention and have stuck on my jukebox!...Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine’s annual “Coolest Blues Song of the Year” contest spotlights the song and the songwriter...All cuts on the CD Sampler #18 “Full Moon Beach Party!” are in on the contest and you can vote on our website: www.bigcity bluesmag.com and click on Coolest Blues Song of 2015.
