“First off I've got to mention the rhythm section (Larry Taylor on bass & Richard Innes on drums) they are it, if these guys are there I know I'm ready for action. And when they told me Henry (Grey) and Pinetop (Perkins) were playing, I was there.”

“Me and Pinetop (Perkins), I've got a history with him. I first met him in 1975, he was playing with the Muddy Waters band and I was just starting out. They took me in, let me get right up on stage with them and showed me what this was all about. I feel honored and indebted to them every time I'm on stage, cause without these guys I'm nothing. If I can't do it right I don't want to be up there.”
